I was scanning some online jargon/lingo dictionaries for some site marketing purposes, and came across a new term (new to me):
nerd rustler: The person in a corporate personnel department responsible for hiring computer programmers. (found it here on netlingo.com)
Of course there’s the closely related classic, for which I can relate:
nerd herder: A manager of IT employees, tasked with making them do some useful work. Literally, herding nerds. “I’m an IT manager; just call me a nerd herder.” (see more here on urbandictionary.com)
