after years of using ofoto.com, now known as kodakgallery.com, I’ve set up an account on flickr. I’m still not sure if flickr will replace ofoto (sorry, kodak) for us, but kind of in a wait and see mode. Was nice for people to have prints made from photos in our gallery, but not sure how often that happened.
I think it would be in Kodak’s interest to give a cut to the gallery owner, but it looks like they are going for the old-school affiliate style program. They’re certainly listing all the halmark-esque photo products, but lacking on the web centric featues people seem to be demanding. Maybe flickr has a business opportunity if they start printing!!!
for now, I’ll add flickr gallery viewing to my site, until kodak wakes up and smells the web 2.0 coffee.
